FEAR HAS NO PLACE HERE
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 Fear, It creeps in quietly and suddenly takes over—our thoughts, our peace, our decisions. It tells us we’re not capable, that things won’t work out, that we’re all alone. But can I remind you of something powerful today?

Fear Has No Place Here
Overcoming Fear Through Faith
Scripture:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Have you ever felt frozen by fear? Not just the obvious kind that comes from danger—but the subtle kind. The fear that whispers, “You’re not enough.” The fear that says, “What if it all falls apart?” The fear that convinces you to shrink back instead of stepping forward.
I’ve been there. And if I’m honest, fear still tries to show up sometimes. But here’s what I’ve learned: Fear doesn’t come from God.
God doesn’t operate through intimidation or anxiety. He doesn’t paralyze you with worry or make you question your worth. Instead, He empowers you with strength, surrounds you with love, and anchors you with peace of mind.
That verse in 2 Timothy is one of my favorites because it’s a clear reminder of what God has given—and what He hasn’t. He’s given you power. He’s given you love. He’s given you a sound mind. Fear isn’t on that list.
When fear comes knocking, it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It just means you’re human. But you don’t have to let it move in and take over. You can meet fear with faith. You can remind yourself of who you are in Christ and speak truth louder than the lies.
Affirmation:
I will not be ruled by fear. God has given me power, love, and a sound mind. I walk in faith and confidence, knowing that He is with me.
A Prayer for Today:
Lord, thank You for reminding me that fear is not my portion. When my heart feels anxious, help me to refocus on You. Replace my fears with Your truth. Fill me with Your courage and peace. I choose to walk boldly in the power and love You’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Final Thoughts:
Fear may show up, but it doesn’t get to stay. Every time it rises, rise higher. Speak God’s Word. Lean on His promises. Choose faith over fear—every single time.
You are stronger than you think. And you're never alone in the fight.
